One of Angelica’s favorite books right now is Pinkalicious! Thanks to Freebies 4 Mom, I found a link to Barnes and Noble’s online storybook where the author, Victoria Kann, reads Pinkalicious with a video containing illustrations from the book.
It’s free, and you don’t have to sign up for anything. Just click to hear/see Pinkalicious for FREE!
This series has been a favorite of Angelica’s since she was about 2 1/2. We ordered the series from her daycare’s Scholastic flyer. I think it’s a testament to the staying power of these books that three years later, she’s still in love with the character!
If you’ve never read Pinkalicious, it’s a delightful book about a little girl who loves the color pink! She loves pink so much that she disobeys her mother and eats too many pink cupcakes. The result? A very aCUTE case of…pinkititis!
This is the first in a series of Pinkalicous books featuring the eponymous character, her brother Peter, her imaginary unicorn Goldie, and other family and friends. Other books include: Purplicious, Goldilicious, Silverlicious, and the latest, Emeraldalicious. These are all in regular rotation in our bedtime story routine! Each book is features Pinkalicious as she goes through the normal trials and adventures of being a child.
There’s also a Pinkalicious video game available for the Nintendo DS. We have it — it’s one of Angelica’s favorites!
If your child loves Pinkalicious, make sure to also check out this interview with Pinkalicious author Victoria Kann at Fun Finds for Families. She discusses her inspiration for the character, as well as new Pinkalicious stories that are coming soon!
